1. Service Description

Award Buddy is a browser extension that searches for award flight availability on airline websites. It is a search and information tool only. Award Buddy does not book flights, hold or reserve seats, purchase tickets, or act as a travel agent or booking intermediary of any kind.

2. User Responsibilities

By using Award Buddy, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of service of any airline loyalty program you use with Award Buddy.
• High-volume award availability searches may violate airline terms of service and could result in account restrictions, suspension, or forfeiture of miles or points.
• We strongly recommend using a secondary mileage account for searching with Award Buddy, and completing actual bookings through your primary account.
• Any consequences to your airline account — including but not limited to suspension, loss of miles, or other penalties — are solely your responsibility.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

Award Buddy is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• Availability data will be accurate, complete, or up to date at the time of your search.
• Award seats shown will still be available when you attempt to book ("phantom availability").
• The extension will remain functional following changes to airline websites or booking systems.

4. Subscriptions & Refunds

• Pro subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis and auto-renew until you cancel.
• Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. If you cancel, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact our support team within 7 days of the charge and we will review the case.

5. Intellectual Property

Award Buddy's extension code, website, branding, and all related content are the property of Award Buddy. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without prior written permission.

6. Service Changes & Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the service as a whole at any time, with or without notice. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or continued compatibility with airline websites.

7. Governing Law & Limitation of Liability

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Award Buddy and its operators disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including account suspension, loss of miles, missed flights, or financial loss — arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to discontinue use.
